Words of Truth 05/13/2011

I see all these people’s faces
As they walk around
Always keeping down
Their eyes to the ground
Forgetting social graces
Like they never need to cry
They don’t look at your eyes
You might detect their lies.
A humanity of moving
To work and to their job
On them I have the advantage
Cause I hear the songs of truth
For them the worry reigns
It sucks from them their courage
They could release the chains
So serene in their brains.
If they heard words of truth
And how they are arranged.

The music and the moods created
Devotions and distillations
Of loves lost or belated
Mankind fallen from Creation
Cryptic worlds and stories
Adventures to lands so strange
Man’s successes and glories
I have all of this and more
To look forward to and store
New ones and the old
From a worship to a scold
So delicious and so fun
So many more yet to come
Heard in my rolling sanctuary
That never moves in silence
So often used in violence
Word-clashing estuary.
Meaning isn’t necessary
Not even white and sanitary
But, boy they just don’t get it.

A few bucks will just wet it
An appetite so monetary.

Of trying to reconcile
The lack of truth I hated
With knowing what’s worthwhile.
In lime boxes incorporated
Where I tried to impart
Pure efforts never appreciated
And you knew it from the start.
It was not my nature or my fate,
Climbing ladders to be great.

But being so appreciated
With cards and letters wallpaper
In my place, my working cube
On the way here I changed
By listening so loud
I hold my head up so proud
Among these zombie boobs
Their efforts are so feeble
They look at times deranged
At other times, pod-people.
They could release the chains
So serene in their brains.
If they heard words of truth
And how they are arranged.
